Am I assuming correct that these functionalities are not yet added to the plugin?
In light of the GDPR it would be great if those were added so we could use it in templating for example on a user's profile page.

That's correct, @TomDeSmet. These functionalities are not included in this plugin. We have no immediate plans to add this functionality to the plugin, but you're welcome to submit a PR if you have functionality you wish to add.
