User reports: when we want to load a calibration file with NeuropixelsV1eDevice, the serial number recognized in the bonsai V1eDevice node is not the same as the serial number of our probe, and thus we have to rename the calibration folder, files and content to this currently provided different number to be able to upload the calibration file.

Hi, we are the user who came across this behavior.
As some additional info, we have a neuropixels probe with serial number 20097902652 connected at the 1.0e headstage, but the V1eDevice node shows it as having serial number 20097924668, a number which doesn’t fit any of our probes.
Our ONIX system recently went through some updates and before those the same probe was recognized as a different Serial Number 20097859900. We will update information here once we observe another change, or when we switch to a different probe on the same headstage.
Please let us know if there are further tests we can run to help track down the issue. In the meantime the workaround noted above allows to still upload calibration files with some renaming.
I experienced this as well but interestingly still with the NP1.0 headstage, (after connecting the probe to the 1.0e one and going back to the 1.0). The probe was correctly recognised before and then all of a sudden the SN changed. I changed the naming in the cal files too.
