The biomass reaction is commonly normalized so that it produces exactly 1gDW/mmol of substrates. So the flux unit of mmol/(gDW*h) becomes gDW/(gDW*h)=1/h. So in that case the biomass flux is the same as the growth rate. The AGORA models use this normalization.
