Recommended GPU memory -- facing CUDA memory issues

I'm trying to run the example script here : https://samgeo.gishub.org/usage/

This is the error that I face

OutOfMemoryError: CUDA out of memory. Tried to allocate 20.00 MiB. GPU 0 has a total capacity of 5.79 GiB of which 13.12 MiB is free. Including non-PyTorch memory, this process has 5.73 GiB memory in use. Of the allocated memory 5.52 GiB is allocated by PyTorch, and 99.00 MiB is reserved by PyTorch but unallocated. If reserved but unallocated memory is large try setting PYTORCH_CUDA_ALLOC_CONF=expandable_segments:True to avoid fragmentation. The satelite.tif is ~3.3 MBs.

For someone who has run this with GPU, what's the recommended memory requirement?

1. As you can see, the GPU memory I have is ~6GB and 16GiB of main memory.
