Overview

The ImplementationGuide contains the FHIR artifacts necessary to achieve an interoperable, standardized data layer for the HIV Case reporting and follow-up repository. This includes the common data models, the FHIR profiles and extensions, as well as operations and mappings, and terminology resources.

Approach:

Iterate the below to achieve prototypes then MVP, parking open issues so that they don't block progress

• Define data needs (logical models) for Case Report
  ** Including constraints like terminologies

• Define functional vocabulary artifacts
  ** ValueSets, CodeSystems, NamingSystem

• Define models (logical models) for Case Record (longitudinal record)

• Map Case Report to Questionnaire resource

• Map Case Record to resource profiles
  ** including necessary extensions
  ** including bundling and exchange transaction

• Define StructureMap (or other mappings, per SDC

• Define dynamic system behaviour and constraints
