We welcomed Kiran Gauthier from BMS to our group. He has worked a lot on informative-prior longitudinal models.
Given the likely roadblock with conditional means priors (Conditional means priors #40) in brms, we as a group decided it would be worthwhile to create a specialized MMRM package with a pre-compiled Stan model. We can do this with CmdStanR through configure and configure.win scripts in the package (I am working on open-sourcing a package which will help with this).
brms.mmrm is still worthwhile as a potential direction and a proof of concept, so we still plan to release it, with a disclaimer in the README that it is still in the development phase and it has not been validated.
