Version 2.21.0 was recently released and is now live on osm.org. 🎉

The biggest change that this release dropped support for Internet Explorer 11, which allowed us to streamline the development / build process and also reduce the file size of the javascript code of iD from about 4.4MB down to 3.4MB in this release. This is because we can use more modern javascript features now which are supported by all current browsers, while it used to be necessary to include compatibility layers in the past in order to support IE11. If you are one of the very few mappers who used to map with this browser, please consider upgrading to a supported browser like Firefox, Chrome/Chromium, Safari, Opera, Vivaldi.
