Leverage Karan's Goggle Summer of Code work to ingest near real time external data from at least one of the OOI hydrophones on the Oregon coast, ideally starting with the one that is closest to the coastline and therefore most likely to be within detection range of signaling SRKWs.

This would be an exciting stretch goal for the 2024 hackathon this September in part because the fall is the time of year when K and L pods are more likely to start making forays for salmon south of the Columbia River mouth!
