About OrgManager |
OrgManager is an open-source project that aims to provide an invite system for GitHub Organizations, but, what does that really mean?
″Open-source software (OSS) is computer software with its source code made available with a license in which the copyright holder provides the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.″
OrgManager is licensed under the Mozilla Public License Version 2.0 (MPL). It's a very permisive license made for Open Source projects (It even allows commercial and patent use!). You can get more information about the license in the license page.
I found a problem with the current GitHub Organizations' invite system, and created OrgManager to fix that problem while learning. You can read more in this article.
I wrote an article about OrgManager on HackerNoon (Medium). If you want to know more about what problem does OrgManager solve, how to use it and how to contribute, I recommend you to go and read it.
