Hi Elbullazul Some ideas to help this repository/organization:

We can compare or check if the Windows 7 theme is similar to the version contained in Windows 7. This lets you find differences and try to make something minimally more similar. For example:

theme windows 7 by B00merang-Project

theme windows 7 by Microsoft

The problem with this specific theme here is with the Windows button. Windows does not display 3 button columns.

Is it possible to use the 7.css library with B00merang-Project?

Hi Elbullazul! I'm glad to see that you're still at it. We had an email back and forth once where you answered a bunch of theming questions and I greatly appreciated it. I'm not exactly sure what kind of suggestions you would find relevant here, but just throwing this out. I was wondering if it would be possible or if you'd be interested in sort of giving new life to a few themes by an artist https://github.com/killhellokitty that stopped producing in about 2018 (when I started using Linux). What I'm suggesting here is more about using the color schemes, and maybe if possible or ethical, using some of the resources (buttons, switches, etc), but taking liberty on the actual look, or layout of the theme to give them a more modern or personalized look. A few that I had in mind are Delorean Dark and Delorean, but he made several more good themes too. Sorry if this is just wrong :) but in any case, thanks for all the great work for all of us and happy holidays!

I remember those themes, they were great!

I have done some "upgrades" to some themes in the past (see here], but for the moment I'll concentrate my efforts on changes for GTK 4. I'll keep your idea in mind for when I'm done though.

but... how?

1. my initial thought is that B00merang-Project is a project that accepts themes from other independent developers.
2. One thing I noticed with some themes is the lack of custom or unique icons. There are public repositories on github that contain similar themes, but with updated icons. So, in this sense, we need to contact different developers so that custom themes on Linux would be feasible.
3. In that vein, I've demonstrated here a theme called SmallSur which is based on the mac-os theme in Big Sur for B00merang-Project.

I'd be open to accept new contributions and maintainers, but I'm not actively looking to integrate new themes in the project. At least not at the moment. I really want to get GTK4 support shipped above all else.

There's B00merang artwork for icon themes, but I haven't worked on them in a while. Creating new icons is far more demanding (IMO) than creating CSS themes.

Hello again Elbullazul. I realize you're busy adding commits to gtk4 all the time now, but.. I currently use 8 of your themes and discovered that the Cinnamon panels don't work vertically very well. It may be that it was your intention that they were only to be used horizontally? But the graphics, as well as margins/spacing between icons need some fixing if to be used that way. Thanks!

can you list which themes? GTK4 support is close to done, I could give a quick look to shell themes if necessary

OS-X-Leopard, Mavericks, Yosemite maybe only need icon spacing tweaked, no graphics issue I guess (only color with transparency on those?)
Windows 7, Longhorn Aero and Jade, and Boomerang Dark look as though graphics need rotated as well as icon spacing tweaked.

I did say I had 8 currently. Boomerang Circle I like the gtk but was thinking of possibly doing some edits to the Cinnamon to make it more to my liking if I ever get the energy (again). You may have been planning on dropping it but I rather like it and kind of think it'd be cool to add a few more colors for a small assortment :)

I guess with B Dark I like the (skeuomorphic?) quality. But with B Circle I appreciate the splash of bright color.
