We were present at IROS 2022 in Kyoto! I was able to follow quite some sessions but still had to do some digging to find Crazyflie papers! Not many swarms this time.... but a very big spread of the papers into different topics! Seems that we are no longer 'only' an Aerial System 😄
I'll update if I find any more.
Aerial Systems:
'Downwash-aware Control Allocation for Over-actuated UAV Platforms' Su et al. from Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence (BIGAI)
'GaSLAM: An Algorithm for Simultaneous Gas Source Localization and Gas Distribution Mapping in 3D' Ercolani et al. from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL)
'Blind as a bat: audible echolocation on small robots' Dumbgen et al from EPFL
Transfer learning/Reinforcement learning
'Using Simulation Optimization to Improve Zero-shot Policy Transfer of Quadrotors' Gronauer et al from Technical University of Munich
Late breaking results: 'Safe Reinforcement Learning for Robot Control using Control Lyapunov Barrier Functions' Du et al from Harbin Institute of Technology
Navigation Systems/SLAM
'Towards Specialized Hardware for Learning-based Visual Odometry on the Edge' Chen at al from BIGAI
'Efficient 2D Graph SLAM for Sparse Sensing' Zhou et al from University of Virginia
Late breaking results: 'Parsing Indoor Manhattan Scenes Using Four-Point LiDAR on a Micro UAV' Jeong et al from Sookmyung Women’s University
Path Planning for Multiple mobile Robots and Agents
'Polynomial Time Near-Time-Optimal Multi-Robot Path Planning in Three Dimensions with Applications to Large-Scale UAV Coordination' Guo et al. from State university of New Jersey
'Interactive Multi-Robot Aerial Cinematography Through Hemispherical Manifold Coverage' Xu et al from University of Maryland (Crazyflie experiments only mentioned in presentation)
Constrained Motion Planning / Motion and planning
'Avoiding Dynamic Obstacles with Real-time Motion Planning using Quadratic Programming for Varied Locomotion Modes' White et al from Florida State University
'Dynamic Compressed Sensing of Unsteady Flows with a Mobile Robot' Shriwastav et al from University of Hawai‘ at Manoa, Honolulu
