Deployment protection rules for Team or enterprise plan for private or internal repos

I have a question about the deployment protection rules. I saw that they are available for public repositories but not for plans like Pro and Team for internal or private repos. Are they available for enterprise plans in private or internal repositories? Also, is there a timeline to make them available in the Team plan in the future?
