Hi @pacodemant, I understand your concerns about GitHub Copilot's access to your code. Here's a detailed explanation: Understanding GitHub Copilot's Access to Your Code Why does Copilot refuse to reply sometimes, stating it does not have access to my code? How can Copilot provide responses that seem to know my code? What is the purpose of tags such as "file: ..."? Does Copilot have access to my GitHub repositories? Conclusion I hope this clears up any confusion! |

I don't understand something fundamental: the copilot (chat) often refuses a reply with the indication that he does not have access to my codes. How can it be that the copilot answers with exactly my codes and all his peculiarities?
So what is the use of tags such as "file: ..." if the copilot still does not have access to it? Quote Copilot: "The use of '#file: ...' or similar notes in a question can serve to clarify the context of your question, [...] However, this does not mean that I have direct access to the file itself or can read its content." These answers irritate me.
And another thing: when I subscribed to the co-pilot, I understood that the co-pilot has access to my GitHub repositories. But apparently that's not the case, where did I misunderstand something?
I'm sorry, if it's clear to all of you, just not for me, but I'm still a noob ;-)
