I am contributor in a repository but my profile is not appearing in the contributors list. I want my name to apper on that

• Ensure that your commits are associated with the correct email address linked to your account on the platform.
• Check if there are any minimum contribution requirements for being listed as a contributor.
• Verify that your contributions have been merged into the main branch of the repository.

Try using GitHub Desktop App

Double check the full link to the list of contributors: https://github.com///graphs/contributors - only the top 100 contributors will be listed here, so if you aren't in the top 100, then you won't be listed. If it's a small repository and there are less than 100 contributions, then you should definitely be listed here if you are a contributor of that repository. If you aren't listed, then make sure your pull request has been merged. You won't be counted as a contributor until your PR has been merged into the main branch.

If you have more than one GitHub account, check which one you opened the PR from.

Check your contributions graph and look at the settings there:

Does the graph show the contribution you made to the repo?

You can also scroll down and look at your "contribution activity" and see if it's listed there:

If your contributions aren't listed anywhere on your repo, then your pull request might not have been merged yet.
