I cannot restore my school email

I previously associated my school email with my account and then removed it. However, I am now unable to re-associate the same school email address. Each time I attempt to do so, I receive an error message stating that the email address is already in use. Could you please guide how to resolve this issue and successfully re-associate my school email with my account?

Go to your GitHub account settings and check under Emails. Make sure your school email isn't listed. If it’s there but inactive, try removing it again.

Make sure your school email isn’t linked to another GitHub account. If it is, remove it from that account before adding it to your main one.
