Copilot accept completion broken from release 1.34.0 to 1.40.0 (latest)

What?

Hi, after months without updating my nvim I did this weekend, I notice Copilot#accept is broken, at least for me. I did some version changes and found it's broken since 1.34.0.

Before update, I was on version 1.25.1
Note: I updated from NVim 0.9.5 to 0.10.1

Here 2 videos showing a working and not working version of the plugin doing the same autocompletion

Working on 1.33.0

Let me know if is something I have misconfigured or if this is a regression. For now, I'll will stay in 1.33.0

I think the change causing the issue could be this one

Not really sure but look is changing the way it deals with insertion of text in Copilot#accept
