Here’s the solution for repository notifications.

The solution is …

1. … not ideal for the individual user;
2. … the only way (at least with the free github tier).

The default in your user settings is to receive notifications for every project that you’re a part of. So, since you’re in the “Research-Group” Github Team, you have access to read and contribute to every repo that is under development.
