I miss in Linux Mint the tranquility that gives to have the "mhwd" tool of Manjaro when there are problems to raise the graphical environment. It allows to list from CLI the available and installed drivers, and install, reinstall and uninstall them so that the system works again.
I imagine that something similar could be done to use "driver-manager" from CLI.
