Getting avg. distance to nearest weather stations using Point data

Hi, is is possible to get more information on which specific weather stations were used when pulling data using the Point class? Ideally I would like to determine the # of weathers stations used, and the average distance from the geographical point to the weather stations (or the closest weather station). My intent is to use this as an accuracy measure while modifying Point radius. Would this be better accomplished using nearest Weather Stations instead of Geographical point.
