OpSec for Journalists using Qubes #181
-
Qubes Opsec for Journalists has been mentioned on the Qubes website. Qubes website tries to restrict what is discussed on the Qubes website to the Operating System itself. I take the view that Journalists are typically not highly Computer Security knowledgeable. Although they have skills in communication that is far beyond me. I also take the view that in todays world, those who bring interesting stories are actually amateurs. Individuals who happen to see something, and Post it on the internet, which can lead to negative consequences in life of Poster. Be nice to create Checklists (similiar to what airline pilots have to follow.) As well as an clickable data base in a Wiki for an Opsec. Your website could be re-formatted to work in those ways. Anyone there want to work on this? |

We plan to expand our qubes page actually. Still working on other things first. That's the main reason why it is on it's own page and not with other Linux distributions, as it does come with some compromises, but also greatly enhanced security. |
