Explanations and transparency #182
-
Visitors of PrivacyGuides need to have explanations on why something is listed as a recommendation or anti-recommendation. This is especially important in case they need to make decisions whether something is worth the effort of switching services, or in case there are conflicting recommendations of different privacy sources. It is also important for people to be able to make independent, well educated decisions and for the reputation of PrivacyGuides as an independent and reliable source. My suggestion would be, that every change, recommendation and anti-recommendation on PrivacyGuides must have an explanation linked to it, so people can see the reasoning behind it and the pros and cons. |
