Unfortunately it does not. User needs to upload them to his account, using one of the piped instances.
Afterwards, they are being fetched from the account.

Yattee supports subscriptions locally

As it is not currently possible to have local subscriptions here, I don't any substantial benefits compared to just using Piped on the browser on iOS. On macOS, Freetube allows you to have subscriptions locally, so it looks like the better project to recommend at this time.

Yattee supports subscriptions locally in the UI button of “favorite” favorites channels allows people to have subscriptions locally without an account required. As shown in the screenshot below, these channels are on my favorites list, and I'm using the instance https://inv.vern.cc/ without being logged into an account (shown at the top right "Anonymous").
