2-factor second-factor 2FA TOTP apps

I was hoping to find a recommendation for a 2FA application (TOTP to be more specific) on macOS.
Looks like there are not 2FA apps listed yet.

A good idea for the future?
(Note that some password managers also do 2FA, which is odd imho as that's a single point of failure, almost defeating the purpose)
