This would help to give an idea of how old the information on the website is and if one needs to consider looking if things changed in the meantime. |

I was doing this in another project and technically this could be as simple as:
However I wonder who would be allowed to add the date? Whoever was doing a pull request (what if multiple people were doing that?) or the team who would then have to do another commit or require a pull request for changing the date. What if it was forgotten?
I would encourage always doing that and not believing in something just because PrivacyGuides.org says so. |

Personally, I dislike manual solutions like the one suggested by @Mikaela. What could be a better alternative is a link to the commit history (example) for every page on every page. It wouldn't be quite as simple as a date on the site, but it'd be a one-click link to that page's specific history which wouldn't be so bad. We'd probably need to wait for some of our major website changes to be finished before implementing anything like this. |
