As a web developer, I'm interested in creating websites that do not invade visitor's privacy. Currently, usually Google and Facebook track all our visitors. Since most website owners like to measure the results of their online marketing, the usually ask me to set up a Google Tag Manager. Is there any service that enables me to do the same without Google? I know about alternatives for tracking such as matomo analytics, and recaptcha alternatives such as hcaptcha or other self-hostes solutions. Thing is, most of them require a little more effort to set it all up. I'm not aware of alternatives to 2, 4 and 5. Are there any resources on this? If not, I think it would be great to include it in privacyguides. |
