auth clearing when navigating to unprotected route

Hello I am trying to figure out why the localstorage and cookie (i've tried both) are cleared when i navigate to an unprotected route in my app?

I have the AuthProvider as my outermost component so I am unsure why this behavior is occuring

EDIT: disregard. I figured it out. My api was returning authState instead of authUserState property, which is what the UI was looking for
