Samsung Galaxy S10, stock ROM, Android 12
Samsung Galaxy S7, stock ROM, Android 8
Samsung Galaxy S6, LineageOS, Android 10, no Google services
All three devices have location configured to GPS only.
Google location accuracy and all similar cell/wifi/bluetooth scanning stuff is disabled.
All three phone placed in a clear sky view, tens of GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO sattelites visible in GPSTest, stable lock.
Owntracks app is battery whitelisted.
App location permisions changed to "Allow all the time" (on Android 10 and 12, no such setting on Android 8).
Rest of app setting are default.
Owntracks app switched to Move mode, watching debug logs for "BackgroundService: location result received"
What I'm expecting:
Location updates "at least" every 10 seconds. Or exactly every 10 seconds, if "Limit max locator frequency" is ticked.
What I'm seeing:
Chaotic, unpredictable, unreliable location update interval on every of my three devices. Sometime no updates come for 5-6 minutes, sometimes it's a single update a minute, but pretty much always actual interval is larger than 10 seconds configured in settings.
