Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
the way i have my home set up is that there is a dock on the side for messaging apps, and then whatever i'm doing/working on on the other side. sometimes i'm working on multiple things at once but still want my messaging app to stay on the other side

Describe the solution you'd like
the ability to "stack" windows, like how the old pop shell gnome extension does it:

this would allow there to be multiple windows stacked on top of each other, switching them without having to move any other windows. it could work like pop shell, where it's technically horizontally next to each other (as in, super+left or super+right will go to the next item in the stack before moving to the next visible window).

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • scratch layer could work, but it's not as precise as the tiling layer
  • swapping windows back and forth could also work, but i feel this can be clunky at times

Additional context
none so far, will edit if seen fit
