Jellyfin on QNAP TVS-872X: 'Not Found' Error After Installation

I'm having trouble getting Jellyfin to work on my QNAP TVS-872X. I installed Jellyfin version 10.9.1 via the pdulvp GitHub repository using a .qpkg file. After the installation completes and I click on the Jellyfin icon, I get the following error message:

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Here are the steps I've taken to troubleshoot the issue:

Verified Jellyfin is Running:
    I confirmed that the Jellyfin service is running.
Uninstalled and Reinstalled:
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled Jellyfin multiple times.
    I have tried different versions of Jellyfin, but the issue persists.

System Details:

NAS Model: QNAP TVS-872X
Jellyfin Version: 10.9.1 (also tried other versions)
Installation Method: .qpkg file from pdulvp GitHub

hey epicrean,
since I've been tinkering around with my qnap jellyfin installation, maybe I can help you investigate.
What QTS version are you running? not sure if this is the issue but it might help.
In case you haven't already, Can you look up the jellyfin logfile?
Im actually not sure if all qnap systems use the same filesystem structure, but surely the do, right?
at least for me, the jellyfin logs are located in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/jellyfin/logs/ and should have a name like log_20240515.log for todays log for example.

you can access the logs easily via activating ssh in qnap system settings and connecting with something like winscp (if you prefer a gui, like me) and your user login.

hey, sorry for the wait, I have been quite busy the last few days.

the logfile looks okay from my perspective, I don't get the sql warnings but I guess its because no users have been created yet?
since the URL you're getting is not working: clicking the jellyfin app is opening an url on Port 8096 right?
you can check via ssh if your nas is actually listening on this port with the following commands:

sudo netstat -tulpn | grep LISTEN

or

sudo lsof -i -P -n | grep LISTEN

ss does not seem to bei installed in QNAP OS.
I'm no linux pro so I don't actually know how you find out which app is using which port.
could it be possible that another app is using/blocking the jellyfin port?
or that jellyfin is using the wrong network interface? how many networks / ports are connected on your nas?
I have seen some apps using very close/similar ports like virtualization station on 8088 and 8089.
you could try stopping all other apps via the app center and restart jellyfin to see if that helps.

i hope we can track the issue down further with these steps.

edit: there are some additional things that came to my mind.
in your home network, is there a router or firewall between your computer and the nas?
do you have QuFirewall installed on your NAS?

your nas ip address is 192.168.1.171 from what im seeing in the startup log, right?
is the jellyfin app icon actually opening that adress? as in http://192.168.1.171:8096 or http://yournasdnsname:8096 ?
