Hi, as I understand then Pycom LoPy4 is discontinued. Are there any other suitable options out there ?

Good question indeed... It seems there are a few options in terms of hardware that would fit (e.g. https://www.lilygo.cc/products/lora3).

Unfortunately, the LoRa mesh library used by Pycom is not available in open source as far as I know. It means that a replacement (on-the-shelf or home made) is required: not unfeasible but requiring some efforts.
