An upcoming update for KRYTP0S will be done in the coming days. Please refer to issue #6 to know more information about this matter.

With also the possibility of a new additional component being introduced ;)

Upcoming Additions Soon :

• Partial encryption will be utilized, encrypting the file in a partial but still unretrievable manner
• Reducing the extension array to ensure only essential core files are encrypted, enhancing performance

A custom script is currently in a testing environment to ensure it will be fully tested before release to ensure quality

Extension array has been reduced to only consolidate extensions which are crucial, skipping redundant extensions to improve performance. Also, several error handling sections have been improved to reduce the chance of errors upon runtime.

The partial encryption function has been developed, and will work if a specific file size threshold is met. Currently in testing, and is slowly being integrated with the main script.

Kryptos V2 has been released! 🎉

I are excited to announce the release of Kryptos V2, featuring several enhancements as detailed in issue #6 The updates have been tested and all the improvements above have been incorporated. The issue will be closed as the changes have now been committed to kryptos.py.

Note: This is not the end of Kryptos! While this major update, I will continue to work on further improvements. I encourage you to test it out and see how it goes. Your feedback is invaluable <3

Bug fixes are being investigated in the python to exe converter, ensuring the converter runs seamlessly without unexpected errors, please look at issue #7 for more details

Issue #7 is now closed with several code additions made

Several more minor enhancements are being thought about currently to see what can be potentially added! These mostly involve the possibility of updating the ransom screen, as well as other improvements for the KRYPT0S ransomware program. As for the converter program, this is still under development for further improvements :)

Progress is currently slow due to several developments in a major upcoming project. KRYPT0S will have periodic updates as regards to the main source code, as mentioned above, future plans also include the update of the converter. This ensures that even the setup file will be considered a good final project. Stay patient and stay tuned! <3

NOTE : Several more fields and better output have been now added! The above is an old image, it is much more verbose and neater and more efficient. Try it yourself and compare this to the major update it had!
