I updated the meta issue for app servers support and added the two related patches issues.
I'm trying to attract more attention to it, and hopefully we can push to forward :)

I'll submit my patch to d.o. It's great to see more interest in this effort.

I think it also makes sense to wrap them into composer.json for this project with composer patches.
