Inquiry about the email alarm for pinpoint-batch

We are using an SMTP relay server.
So do not use alarm.mail.server.username and alarm.mail.server.password.
In this case, should we comment out the properties below, or is there a different method we should use?

alarm.mail.server.username= #smtp 인증을 위한 userName
alarm.mail.server.password= #smtp 인증을 위한 password
