Difficulties to get the grid power from SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0

I successfully setup all the program and the connection with the car is working well. But I could not solve the issues related to get any information from my solar panel installation (SMA, Sunny Home Manager 2.0, with 2 Sunny Boy inverters).
I'm using the SMA Plugin but not sure how to make the right Base Configuration to make it work. Or maybe a network issue.
I'm not a professional developer (and even not a developer at all).
Would appreciate if someone could guide me in investigating what's wrong.

As you are already using the SMA plugin you just need to enter the Grid URL:

http://<IP of your Docker host>:7192/api/CurrentPower/GetPower

If it still does not work please share your SMA Plugin logs.

docker logs teslasolarcharger_smaplugin > teslasolarcharger_smaplugin.log

Are you using Windows?

You can also disable all network adapters except the Ethernet adapter, so there are no issues possible from that side.

Hi Patrick,

I tried several things this weekend, unfortunately unsuccessfully.
I connected my laptop directly to the HM2.0 through an ethernet cable (using a USB-C => RJ45 adapter on the laptop side), and relaunched the SMA Plugin. Same result (datagram error).
I connected the laptop to the switch that is linking the HM2.0+the 2Sunnyboy inverters to my internet router and had the same result.
Below is an view of the network topology when I connected to the switch.

I also downloaded an application to listen to a multicast stream.
Even when the laptop is not directly connected to the switch but just through the wifi (to the internet router) I can see some traffic (but with quite long silences)

So it means that something is published and well transmitted on the local network.

The Home Manager has a second protocol (SEMP) which is not used by TSC as it is super slow and even more stupid in its calculations.

I think your Enegery Meter is simply disabled, as you have no "Zählerkonfiguration" displayed in your Home Manager Properties. I just opened the settings again and you can just disabled the EnegergyMeter:
Damn buggy Github does not allow to upload screenshot via mobile view... You need to get Admin rights on your solar system.

I sent a request to SMA to get the necessary credentials to make such a modification via the sunny portal. Hope I can get some feedback from them soon.

Hi,

I could finally fix the issue after receiving the admin access. I entered the IP adresses (the ones of the 2 inverters + the one of my hosting computer) in the configuration of the installation through SunnyPortal. It works now.
I will now investigate more about the daily usage of TSC (I'm not yet well acustomed with the different charing modes). The further step will be to port this into a raspberry pi ;-)
