I use Lycheeorg as a photo gallery and would like to add it to my self hosted Plausible install (which currently works great with my Ghost blog).
Lychee provides the following documentation: https://lycheeorg.github.io/docs/external_tracking.html
Their method seems to require additional JS than just loading the code segment (if I understand the docs correctly) as well as adding a listener to the "navigate" event so page to page tracking will occur.
Is the best practice to include the stock plausible script and add calls or should I just come up with api calls myself? I'm pretty rusty on the JS front and can't tell if the stock script exposes functions similar to GTM's "gtag" function?
