[BUG] Connect-PnPOnline HttpClient.Timeout error

Reporting an Issue or Missing Feature

Connect-PnPOnline failing with error message, "The request was canceled due to the configured HttpClient.Timeout of 100 seconds elapsing."

Expected behavior

Connect to site and return a PnPConnection object.

Actual behavior

Fails with message, "The request was canceled due to the configured HttpClient.Timeout of 100 seconds elapsing."

Steps to reproduce behavior

Same result in same environment using "Connect-PnPOnline -UserAssignedManagedIdentityClientId -Url -ManagedIdentity:$true ReturnConnection:$true" on Versions 2.2.0 and 2.3.0

Hello All,

I also am encountering this issue running PnP PowerShell v2.4.0 (with PowerShell 7.2 for the Runbook) in an Azure RunBook to query PowerAutomate flows.

I tried the workaround of retrying mentioned here, but that still did not work. Below is the runtime output I get from the Runbook:

Is there (or anyone have an idea for) a workaround for this when using PowerShell via Azure Runbooks?

Just an update on this for my scenario ... I thought it had something to do with my connection maybe, but I have confirmed that I successfully create a connection by echoing the URL for the current connection (after updating my connection code as shown:

$pnpConnection = Connect-PnPOnline -Url $trgtUrl -Credentials $MonitorCred -ErrorAction Stop -ReturnConnection
write-output Get-PnPConnection -Connection $PnpConnection
write-output "Connected ... Context URL: " $PnpConnection.Url

Seems the issue now is that I actually need the fix for the HTTPClient Timeout error mentioned here, but this not yet available via Azure Runbook modules.

I am also getting this issue...in Azure Automation Account is it resolved ?
