Hi team,
I am sure this isn't the first time but how are people getting around the default "
NoScript
" being set for SPO sites when attempting to provision templates via the PnP Provisioning schema using Tenant templates?I am trying to populate content type document template in the respective
_cts
folder and setting different default "members" group for one with only Contribute permission using a group created in the tenant template. I think both of these actions require the ability to run scripts. For example, the trace log shows:[Site Security] [17] [Information] Won't modify associated group configuration since the template is applied to a NoScript site.
If I were using a Site Template, then I could create the site, set the "
-NoScriptSite:$false
" argument, apply the template and then reset theNoScript
.But, as the site collection is created by the tenant template in this example, struggling to think how to work around the issue.
I have the ability to run a "pre" command, so could create the SPO site initially, set "NoScript" and then apply the tenant template, but that just seems to miss the point of the template in that it should be able to do it all for you...
Any thoughts?
