Compatibility with MT-32 Pi hat?

So I made one of the hats for the MT-32 pi recently and was wondering if it would be compatible with MiniDexed. Its DAC and display are both addressable via i2c, and there is a MIDI jack that looks like it has a similar circuit design to other hardware mentioned on the wiki, I'm just not sure how to configure this and the buttons in MiniDexed.

Looks similar to the MP32L sold by Serdashop: https://www.serdashop.com/MP32L with a couple of visible differences (number of buttons, soldered DAC)
I have this one from Serdashop, but I didn't try to configure MiniDexed on it. I could give it a try next weekend.

Let's wait for @logomancer if it is also working for him.
I would need to check the original housing sold for MP32L, I think that I've got the screen upside down in my configuration. I have a MP32L without the original case, so no real orientation.
Also, MP32L has just 4 switches, no encoder. Perhaps we should discuss the which function should be assigned to which button.

I swapped some of the buttons around so volume up/ down did adjust the volume up and down on mine. Also, I noticed that even with switching LCDColumns to 20 and LCDRows to 4, Minidexed still only used two rows for the LCD. Is this normal?

Oh, my "switching the buttons around" after I switched them around the first time ended up with the same config that @BobanSpasic had, whoops. Mine differs from his in using the SH1106 display (which apparently uses the same drivers as the SSD1306) with a resolution of 128x64. Per the comments in the default configuration, I set LCDColumns to 20 and LCDRows to 4.

Doing some more testing on my MP32L - yup, the screen needs to be rotated, but the resolution seems to also be wrong - the menu texts get wrapped between the lines. I'll report back as soon as I get all right.
