👋 Welcome!

This is the first time using GitHub and Python as the programming language for this project.
Any constructive inputs welcome in improving both the project source code and this GitHub repository.
Over the coming months, it is my intention to provide code to parse both ICAO ATS messages and OLDI messages in ICAO format. Once these implementations are complete, there will most likely follow a data driven ADEXP parser.
All this code already exists in Java but the IP is owned by my company www.flightatm.com and cannot be open sourced.
In the mean time, this section of the repository can be used for discussions and a place to connect with other members that may be interested in the general topic of Flight Data Processing (FDP). I hope that you:

• Ask questions related to FDP processing (I have extensive knowledge on the topic).
• Share ideas.
• Engage with other community members.
• Pass on any tips to improve the Python source code as this is my first attempt at Python programming;
• Pass on any tips to improve the way I have setup this repository as its my first time managing a GitHub repository.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone that may have specific requirements for rudimentary FDP processing implementations and am looking forward to providing my expertise to other members.
