Describe the bug
After Import Plugin a new version, Install, Enable and the Compute a route, the plugin seems to loose its location and color settings and drew the optimal route and isochrones dislocated from the actual route, and the lines are all black. By zooming in and out the entire routing changes location. See the screenshots.
After shutting down the Plugin and Opencpn and Then reopening and computing the route again the plugins routing regains colers and is located properly..

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Win11
  • Browser Firefox
  • Version Opencpn 5.8.4 WR 1.15.10

Import Plugin 1.15.10, Install, Enable and run a Computation

Then Shutdown Opencpn 5.8 and restart, run WR compute again.

I then Downgraded and Reinstalled WR 1.15.9 from within the PIM and the same thing occurred until I shut down Opencpn and reopened before computing and getting a good result.

I tested Beta version 1.15.12 of WR, version found in cloudsmith.

To be certain of the quality of my essay, I:

  • started by COMPLETELY uninstalling OpenCPN from my PC (under W10)
  • cleaned my PC with Cclener
  • reinstalled OpenCPN
  • activated plugins except WR
  • loaded a grib file into the Grib plugin (with winds and currents)

After which, I manually created routes to observe the results.

THEN/

  • I activated WR, and I installed, by importing the downloaded plugin, version 1.15.12.

FINALLY :

  • I set up a start point and an end point in WR
  • I set up a road weather search.
  • I started the compilation
  • The search was a success

BUT

  • the trace obtained was still in black, and also the isochrones
  • the start and finish points were still moved compared to their real position.

See screenshot.

I complete my previous comment

When OpenCPN and WR are first started, each compilation of a new search is displayed with black visochrones and the start-point and end-point are "floating", depending on the zoom level.

BUT,

Today, I restarted OpenCPN and WR, tried a new search on a new route, this time everything worked correctly. Which confirms what was said with the previous version: Only at the first start, the fault appears.
