This is a beginner-oriented group designed to teach students with little to no programming experience from scratch. Students will learn the basics of programming with JavaScript, and will apply their knowledge through various fun projects!
This group was created for students who are interested in competitive programming. Students in this section will prepare for the upcoming Canadian Computing Contest held by the University of Waterloo, as well as other computing contests! Students will also focus on building specific skills and techniques that will help them succeed in contest-based questions.
This group is perfect for students who have an adequate amount of experience in their programming skills, such as those who have finished the intro group, or completed any computer science course (e.g. ICS2O, ICS3U). Students will learn more advanced concepts with experienced executives and will be familiar with designing websites and web applications at the end of the year.
