There is no statement in spec if misa.P is writable.

If it is, the following logic should be suggested:

If you disable misa.M, then misa.P will also be disabled.

Probably some other logic should be provided in case of zmmul.

Also it is not clear from spec if misa.P == 1 is the necessary condition for executing zpn instructions.
