Unimplemented feature - you can use it to measure light. If not planning to do that (you'd need some new code) you can omit it. Here's the background and inspiration for the board. I just never had time to work on that part. https://hackaday.com/2013/04/19/asynchronous-fireflies-use-few-parts/ Also the two holes at the opposite end are just there for accessories in case you want to solder on a few antennae :-) |

I don't think i get the reason for the resistor in parallel with the LED. Is it the current limiting resistor?
