Cloud Posse

terraform-aws-efs Build Status Latest Release Slack Community

Terraform module to provision an AWS EFS Network File System.


This project is part of our comprehensive "SweetOps" approach towards DevOps.

Terraform Open Source Modules

It's 100% Open Source and licensed under the APACHE2.

Usage

Include this repository as a module in your existing terraform code:

Makefile Targets

Available targets:

  help                                Help screen
  help/all                            Display help for all targets
  help/short                          This help short screen
  lint                                Lint terraform code

Inputs

attributes Additional attributes (e.g. policy or role) list <list> no
availability_zones Availability Zone IDs list - yes
aws_region AWS region ID string - yes
delimiter Delimiter to be used between name, namespace, stage, etc. string - no
encrypted If true, the disk will be encrypted. string false no
name Name (e.g. app or wordpress) string app no
namespace Namespace (e.g. cp or cloudposse) string global no
performance_mode The file system performance mode. Can be either generalPurpose or maxIO string generalPurpose no
security_groups AWS security group IDs to allow to connect to the EFS list - yes

subnets AWS subnet IDs list - yes
tags Additional tags (e.g. map('BusinessUnit','XYZ')) map <map> no

Outputs

Name Description
dns_name DNS name
host Assigned DNS-record for the EFS
id EFS id
mount_target_ids List of IDs of the EFS mount targets (one per Availability Zone)
mount_target_ips List of IPs of the EFS mount targets (one per Availability Zone)
