Upon trying to compile a custom message depending on a number of standard ROS messages (e..g sensor_msgs, diagnostic_msgs etc.), the build failed due to missing dependencies.

Seems like a new release (1.12.6) for https://github.com/ros/common_msgs happened a month ago, and is the reason behind the issue.

Thanks for the report. Do you have a list of missing message definitions by any chance?

@jubeira apologies for the delay. It seems that the dependencies for all messages in https://github.com/ros/common_msgs are outdated (all require 1.12.6), as well as a dependency on uuid_msgs:1.0.6
