What's new - Sidekick product updates October 2022

As of this month, Sidekick plugins are now available on Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm & PyCharm.

News and improvements:

• Sidekick Automatic Error Stack Capturing has arrived for Python! We will be rolling out related content soon and until then you can find how you can use this feature with our Node.js agent here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc9TupvV-TM&ab_channel=Sidekick%28byThundra%29

• Error Snapshot panels are now available in both Web IDE, VSCode, PyCharm & WebStorm.

• Our WebStorm Plugin is released. Now you can live debug your applications without leaving your favorite IDE!

Coming soon

• Saved points will soon start to live with your code, updating their location based on your code changes.
• We are augmenting predefined points with tags for batch control of logpoints & tracepoints.
• Soon our test mode will let you use Sidekick agents and previously collected reference events for tests. Pinpoint your behavioral changes faster than ever.
• With our upcoming release you will be able to remote control your agents. Sidekick Web IDE will be improved to let you control your agents remotely. Upcoming commands will be "attach", "detach", "update data collection level" and "toggle error snapshot collection".
