Reporting a Vulnerability

We take security seriously at Ruru UI and appreciate your efforts to responsibly disclose your findings. If you discover a vulnerability in our project, please follow the steps below to report it to us:

  1. Email us at: ruru.dev07@gmail.com
  2. Provide details of the vulnerability:
    • Affected component or code area
    • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability
    • Potential impact of the vulnerability
    • Any suggestions on how to mitigate or fix the vulnerability

Security Incident Response

Upon receiving a vulnerability report, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of the vulnerability report within 48 hours.
  2. Investigate and validate the reported vulnerability.
  3. Work with you to understand the severity and potential impact of the vulnerability.
  4. Develop and test a fix for the vulnerability.
  5. Release the fix as soon as possible, and notify you when it is available.

We ask that you:

  • Do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until we have had a reasonable amount of time to address it.
  • Act in good faith to avoid privacy violations, destruction of data, and interruption or degradation of our services.

Security Best Practices

We recommend all users follow these best practices to keep their deployments secure:

  • Keep all dependencies up to date.
  • Use strong and unique passwords for accessing the system.
  • Regularly review and audit security configurations and settings.
  • Monitor systems for unusual activities and potential threats.
