Releases and versioning

What do people here think of starting versioning and keep a Changelog of the repository and release as often as we can (minimum monthly imho, likely CalVer)?

Having a changelog might be useful because people can look into it to track major changes (i.e. new chapter vs typo fix or CI change).
The downside is that it requires time to maintain it 😅
