Unselfbond tutorial

These instructions explain how to unbond some tokens of an ICS testnet validator. Its purpose is to demonstrate how unbonding delegations are handled by the CCV protocol.



1. Submit an unbonding transaction
The following command undelegates 2000000stake from your local provider chain validator.

                -y -b block



2. Check the updated validator-sets
Check that you are not in the validator set any more.

4. Check how the CCV protocol handles unbonding delegations
After the provider chain unbonding period, i.e. 5 mins, check that your unbonding delegation still exists using the following command

You can check that you didn't receive the 2000000stake in your balance account yet.

interchain-security-pd q bank balances ${ACCOUNT_ADDR} --home $PROV_NODE_DIR

After the consumer chain unbonding period, i.e. 10 mins, check that your unbonding delegation was removed and that your money is back.
