vgit like sidebar for text heavy cells

I recently saw the vgit grep feature on Mastodon, and thought the same guide sheet pop-over could be repurposed as a native and general feature to display lengthy/text-heavy cells (with a different colour (purple?) to differentiate from the green guide sheets):

The pop-over could potentially also implement a scrollbar.
